Could today go any slower??? It's not even a half day either! I have stuff to do but it's not pressing so I'm doing it but no real pressure since few people are here and my boss isn't even here next week...
what you guys doing to drive the bordom away? |

well its Friday so its ok to relax. have you taken ur lunch yet, go out for an extended lunch break to start, lol and finish up any shopping u still need to do. im just resting. my body actually aches from the workout we did last night so i actually am not feeling well :( and glad for the nonactivity here.
today everyone is either on vacation or working from home, god i wish i had that luxury...but its very quiet here and i kinda like it. the company is holding its annual Holiday Party for employees and their children so im seeing many cute lil faces around and hearing excited voicees :) not to mention hearing the sound of shrill whistles in the distance cuz they put one in each of their goody bags ahha.
i am however surfing the net for ideas on gifts under $50 though...involved in a Secret Santa coming up and i need ideas to put on my wishlist. haha. |

wow that sounds AMAZING. omg id probably be diving into the Penne a la Vodka, Lasagna and foccacia breads i have a weakness for ALL three. Go ahead and enjoy urself. i just had half a crabcake sandwich on baguette with thousand island dressing and a helping of fries. and i have a chocolate covered candy apple with almonds that I am going to bring home to enjoy. day off today :) |

do u get off at 4??? luckyyyy. well if its quiet, take a nap. i took a 20 min nap before haha
ooh i just remembered, my company gets Xmas Eve off entirely. well thats a day without pay for me since i get paid hourly :whip: but an extended wkend. all good :)
anyway, soo is anyone taking advantage of 24 hour/extended hours to do last minute xmas shopping? im kinda intrigued by it i dunno why. lol. several Macys are 24 hours, and i think the entire mall of Queens Center is completely 24 hours until Xmas Eve. its gonna be MAYHEM. |

Yes because I work for Jewish people... which is also why I have to work X-mas eve but he's letting me out @ 3-4 on Monday [plus it's payday so i don't mind coming in :)]
I am so mad because I bought some gifts for the parents online and stupid me thought I'd get it fast and shipped here then I can send it with some extra stuff I already have at home.
I STILL HAVEN'T GOTTEN IT!:mad:
But you know how parents are. They don't even want anything so a gift coming late doesn't bother them. |

aww well that was certainly very thoughtful of you :) im sure they will love it even if it is received late. did u track the packages, will they be coming in very soon at least? |
