DJ Tiësto will be joining Moby's Area: 2 Festival this summer.
Other DJ's confirmed for Area: 2 are John Digweed and Carl Cox.

SWEET!!@#!! I wanna see tiesto so bad, and it being at the gorge :D, I'm excited!!
OMG.. I'm so damn excited; first I pick up my sasha & digweed tickets for may 11th, then I find out about ferry corsten - punk cosmic gate remix, and now I'm gonna see tiesto!!

this sucks to no end.
just cuz i hate camping and huge huge parties..
btw word on nwtekno.org is that the pre-tickets cost a whopping $71 after all the ticketmaster charges etc...
so not only did i not want to go before, but i REALLY dont want to go after knowing ill have to spend almost 100 bucks on a damn ticket. |

71$! holy crap.. really want to see tiesto. any if he is only doing the other 21+ this might be only way. hmm unless i can travel north and see one of the 19+ shows up there.. hmm |

yea, thats what im sayin.. the only person i care about on that lineup is tiesto, and 71 bucks for that, plus having to camp, and the massive feel of the event just isnt worth it.
but yes he does come up to vancouver id say every 6 months or more.. but if you are wary about the long drive, i live in bellingham, in the summer ill be in the redmond area but still will be renting my apt in bellingham.. if there are ever things in vancouver in the summer i want to go to i plan on goin up there and then having some place to crash on the way back (in bellingham which is close). so any of you ta folk are welcome to join me if so (since i know the drive does seem kind of daunting).. or if its not the summer, you can crash here anyways and we can carpool up from bham :)
btw just asked my friend (who bought tix already) and indeed they are $71 after all that. thats a GA ticket, vip is like several hundred. think ill pass on this show. |
