| Why isnt there one? i think theres enough TA's with shows already and enough that are good enough for shows that we could have an awesome radio station. Any reason why it hasnt already been done? (sorry if someone has already suggested it/asked why i have never seen anything about one before) |

| Bandwith isnt that expensive, but royalties and liscensing fees are. You have to pay to play other peoples music, even if you paid for the tracks. It can be very expensive. |

| Too many people on TA with too many ideas of what is 'good' and what is not. |

| There are boatloads of existing internet radio stations with boatloads of bedroom DJs. I really don't think that TA would be able to provide anything "new" or interesting enough to warrant such an endeavor. |

hahaha you must be joking. Lets just say these people on TA just doint have the "SKILLS" to do it hehe.
Plus if there ever be a trance radio station on TA it wont be trance it will be all techno/minimal and ANYTHING else except trance. |

more just a shoutcast for some of our ta dj's to broadcast on. At the time there was only really di.fm as an alternative & it was never anything other than a bit of fun.
As I think i recall del saying a while back, there's no need for one. We have so many choices now as it is, and with such a range of styles being played by our members, it's an unnecessary expense. People would complain about the playlist, either too much armin, too little armin, too much house, too little house, this sucks, that sucks etc. don't need the hassle
ps. ukta/ourboard radio (now merged with the bedroom sessions thread) is all you need for variety anyway ;) |
