Just saw Armin on Wed in Belfast. His set really blew me away! Best I've heard from him in ages, and I wasnt even looking forward to hearing him. A pleasant surprise.

Will preface by saying i AM a fan of Armin:)
By FAR the best Ableton set ever is Sasha's Essential Mix at Maida Vale in 2005....
(EM of the yr 2005)
These year mixes that Armin does just don't do it for me.

hehe ill give it a listen man! :) and i dunno im really into the music that Armin and Above and Beyond play... those are pretty much the only radio shows i listen to .. but then again everyone has their own styles thats what makes everyone different.. ! happy new years everyone !! :D ill be sure to post pics of NYE downtown Warsaw after i get back!! too bad theres NOT A SINGLE known dj playing here tonight:| ughhh |

Naw thats completely fair man...as i said i AM a fan of Armin and even Above & Beyond...
Maybe i jumped the gun..
But it rly has nothing to do with what style u prefer more, Sasha's Ableton mix
is somthing outta this world TECHNICALLY...its something Armin's mixes never can compare to.
So if/when u do listen to Sasha's mix, notice how differently layered it is than Armin's yr mixes... |
