Official I hate the holidays Thread

Screaming children, packed malls, no parking, huge lineups, HORRIBLE-makes-you-wish-you-were-deaf holiday music, annoying prostitots, people who feel the need to walk in a horizontal line down the mall aisle, being bumped into by bratty kids and a bajillion shopping bags, awkward family get-togethers, visiting relatives...
These are the reasons I hate the holidays. Spending just a few minutes in a mall/even near a mall/the street along the mall made me want to punt a child off a highway overpass into oncoming traffic. |

how about not doing the shopping until the xmas season is over? and getting the presents a few weeks in advance?
common, lighten up :) it's that bad, weekends are always crazy in the mall anyway |

I'm done all my shopping, I have been done for months. Someone just asked me to pick something up for them at the mall. Definately the last time I ever go to the mall for someone. |

there ya go :) why hate on the season just cos it's gets very busy in malls? enjoy the time off with your family, and watch old Christmas movies |

almost every holiday season I run away to NYC to get AWAY from family. I dislike "family time" and especially christmas movies.
I guess I'm just sick of the holidays and christmas because of how commercial it is and how my relatives feel the need to visit. Which in turn makes me run away to another country so I don't have to deal with them. |
