Freddie has always been criticized for having kept his Indian ethnicity a secret. But i think that's only because he belonged to an era where his ethnicity would've acted as a hindrance to his rock-n-roll.
He had a fair share of musical critics too, notably the Rolling Stones.
It is sad that in many ways, he is remembered as much for his music as his sexual orientation and circumstances of his death. |

Queen were good, but:
Pink Floyd, King Crimson and Van Der Graaf Generator produced superior music in comparison to them back in the day (there were more good bands but hey...)
and...
Sigur Ros produce better music today! (i would add some more names here but hey...)
Despite that,The Queen are legends. |

He was also criticized for concealing the fact that he had AIDS until the final days of his life, as many felt that he would have been able to assist with the AIDS cause had he made it public sooner. |

My dad bought me a Queen CD (when I ~12 and into pop rock), and I loved it. He was lucky to grow up to all this. |

they were a bit really though, weren't they |
Agreed. They would have been mediocre without the pomp and circumstance. |

| had it been if John Deacon wrote that bassline himself but he didn't. It's Bernard Edward's bassline from Chic - Good Times. Deacon altered it a bit, but ye, the bassline from good times is one of the best of alltime |

I was always under the impression that he made it from scratch, and this track made Queen the only band up to date where every bandmember has written a track on their own and the track reached #1...?
And Beatles did not do this because Ringo never wrote squat. Am i right, or just confused as always? |
