Rear Speaker install on 1994 Honda Prelude

Hi all, I just got a pair of Infinity 6.5" Speakers for xmas today. I'm attempting to install them myself, and have already removed the OEM speakers from the vehicle. After the removal of the old ones, I've run into a situation.

The OEM speakers use a 'clip' mechanism to attach the speaker wires to the actual speaker. On the Infinity Speakers, all it asks for are the Positive/Negative wires to be directly connected up to the speaker.

One half of the clip part is connected to the OEM speaker, and the other half connected to the wiring itself.

My question is, How do I connect these speakers up to the OEM wiring? I had very similar speakers to these in my old civic, and the wiring on the civic worked fine. This is a whole different animal though.

If I'm in over my head I can just hook the OEM's back up for the time being and have them professionally installed. I would rather DIY it though if it's not too difficult.

Thanks in advance for any help. :)

Started snowing here really bad this afternoon so I took a hiatus from the trunk of my car to some warmer shelter...

I'll have to recheck the dongle to make sure it's only a postive/negative lead going into the clip. If so, I think my buddy has got a soldering iron to help wire it up...

Thanks for the help guys. :)

I had a 4th gen Prelude that I had new speakers installed on. My advice, go to Best Buy :)
