minimal vocal trance/vocal neo trance

| sort of like a stripped down version of vocal (mc)prog trance. some examples: tiesto - do you feel me, and dj shog - turn your heart(from his recent album 2Faces), some of KVA's tracks fit this description as well. Anyone know other examples? |

I'm all for Neo Trance but the whole point of it was to combat the poppy vocal "trance" that you have mentioned.
And I don't think there is such a thing as minimal trance. Although in theory maybe there could be. I don't know. |

they are kinda opposites, although i still think minimalism can be applied to trance, just not in the mnml-m_nus-techno way |

1 bar melodies would defeat the purpose of trance imo
all you need to do is strip down the useless frequencies and all the clutter. I don't want to coin a term that doesn't exist but i would see it more as "micro" trance if i had to make up some bull name to sell more records. |
