When's the new Crobar/Studio Mezmor space opening up again???

I heard it is gonna be a Mansion. Just went to the one in SoBe and I hope they lay out the place just like it is down there.....very cool venue. I had an awesome time there and Benny Benassi was spinning :wtf:
Anyway, I thought it was supposed to open months ago. It looked like they were throwing the grand opening party on NYE but it looks like that got pushed back. So, any updates?? |

i spoke to a friend who promotes for pacha and had a lil insite on this
supposedly the mansion people are opening another club in either la or vegas and are going to see if that club is sucessful
if it is then they will put money into the ny club and get it up and running
sort of like what crobar did
they had 2 clubs one in miami,on in chicago then they opened up the nyc one then one in south america then one in la i think
time frame wise if they do decide to go ahead and open up the nyc version of mansion i would say they wont start working on it till maybe after wmc/late spring and wont open up till the fall maybe
like i said this is what a friend told me so we will have to see
personally i miss crobar if mansion opens up in that spot they should try and keep it as much as crobar as they can |

I think if Mansion did come in and they wanted to make it sobe-esque, they wouldn't have to change much; the left side (facing stage) of the balcony is very similar to the Miami location.
No matter what though, I'll be calling it crobar until the day I die, even if they opened a superfresh in the space. |

Everything I have read says that they have already purchased the crobar space last summer/fall. It is true that they are also opening up a couple clubs in vegas (mansion, prive, etc.). I don't think they will wait around to see if anything else is successful, that doesnt make any sense. It has been said in several interviews that they are opening both nyc and vegas clubs simultaneously. So no way they just sit on the crobar space. It looks like they will be opening soon. And like I said before, there were some promotional flyers going around saying that they were having a grand opening nye party, but the party ended up being moved elsewhere.
I'm really looking foward to something like Mansion in NYC. It's like a mix between marquee and pacha....if they can pull it off |

you can say that again!! i remember it was like 3 ferry gigs in 1 year that was the best!

| i havnt heard anything about that but i did hear a while ago that club exit was supposed to become club space ny....i havent heard anything about that in quite a while now so not sure whats goin on there..... |
