Some states have bans, but there isn't any national one. The first national ban was in Ireland (2004), as far as I know. |

it's illegal here now in establishments etc. it's funny watching them getting wet, cold & such just trying to have a fag.
Worst place is spain, it's so cheap there, everyone smokes & some of them are plain ignorant in eateries etc. |

| Ohio also has a total ban except for private homes and outside (outside of a 50ft radius of a public building) |

| I can both agree with it and disagree. People should have a right to smoke wherever they please but at the same time not everyone wants to be in the presence of a smoker when they're busy eating a meal. |
