Hello montreal! I came to this party from toronto. I had an amazing time, you guys dance harder and party harder then in toronto.
I met alot of nice people. You guys have a unique identity different then english canada and thats a good thing you guys will hold onto it and it makes you stonger people with a good culture.
I noticed from sasha and digweeds set you guys like that dirty, filthy, funky, goovy house music made for dancing. And you guys dance hard so now wonder you enjoy it. I thinnk in toronto their set would not be so dirty and funky cause not everyone can handle it.
so thank you montreal you have an awesome dance scene- so keep on supporting it and keep it alive. |

Wow, that was really nice to read! I think you pretty much summed it up (relative to my opinion anyway). How sweet of you to compliment our scene and the vibe it brings with such kind words. Happy you enjoyed it :)
Spin: I wanna post a review soooooooo badly but I gotta let my emotions cool down lol or else it'll just be an obsessive rant about how amazing every single thing was throughout my night...
This night deserves something more well thought out hehehe :p |

I arrived at the tremendous line at 12:30 and made it to the dance floor by 1:40 to hear what I assume was the beginning of Sasha banging it out. He played harder than I usually expect from him and I loved him for it. Sasha seemed to be really enjoying himself, interacting with the crowd and always a big smile on his face. Diggers was his typical stoic self, and dropped some bombs, but I preferred Sasha.
The light setup was unreal! Can't imagine the coordination it must take to operate that whole light show. I loved the venue as well, the balconies afforded a great view of everything that was going on and allowed you to take in the whole scene at once.
I made the mistake of assuming there was going to be alcohol available, so I spent the night sober but still had an incredible time. I ended up jetting around 5:30 because my sister sprained her ankle a few days earlier and it was starting to bother her again. Oh well, even though I was there for a little less than 4 hours I still feel I got my money's worth. Bravo, Tribe!
It was good to see, albeit breifly: Shara, Malek, Selma and Markus |
