fun night... i got a nice unexpected surge of energy that i didn't think i had in me this weekend. great stuff from JB, and as blurr mentioned it was nice to have those higher bpm's, and then thanks taj for playing those cosmic gate tracks for those of us who missed them friday. i've always been pleasantly surprised by how many people have been going out in general all over the city these last few weeks despite all the crappy weather/rain. |

sounds about right. that's why i had absolutely no problem being anywhere but ruby on friday night. instead gui boratto had me goin the whooole time  i was planning on stopping by 1015 for a while on saturday, but i got tanked at the end of phil k and had to pass out in my car for a couple of hours. when i snapped out of it, it was already 4:45 and i was about to miss the end of sian so i ran into 1015 real quick to say hi to whoever i could find, grab my hoodie from rizo and catch the tail end of the irish spaniard's techno set. sorry i missed everyone's sets, but i was on a serious techno bender this weekend and had to indulge the palette with some dark, dirty, razor-sharp beats from outerspace  :thepirate |

| i liked nathan's set but the main room lacked bass :whip:  :( he dropped some tracks from Digweed's latest EM too  JB you had some great energy but man i had a huge meal that tired me out and i guess i was more in a minimal/tech-prog house mood that i should of really gone w/ Rich but was with Alex from the get go. cant comment on blurrs set but taj dropping old cosmic gate and a couple of Taz's booth check ins woke me up :stongue: also Dave's comedy at the end of the night was too hilarious! mystic is the brains! :stongue: :stongue: :stongue: :stongue: :stongue: :stongue: :stongue: :haha: |

Alex was dropping old CG friday evening at his place before we headed out tempting me to change my mind :whip:  but i later find out he didnt want to go either due to last time their set in June was so good only because they started to drop all the classics after they saw and signed his vinyls! somethings just arent never the same :( |

Turned out to be a fun evening, wasn't feeling too great at the start.
After Friday's Butter, Dirtybird, Cosmic Gate and Insomnia, me and some gents went to the End Up until 11am. We all looked at each other and thought something was a bit off that morning but couldnt pinpoint it. All of sudden we realized it was Saturday morning not Sunday :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: From there we proceeded to go "shopping" in the Haight. After nearly losing Matt and Kirk, we thought it was a good idea to go chill, so day party at Lyndsay's house was a great option :D Somewhere in there actual sleep was gotten, and waking up to a bowlful of Mac & Cheese always helps the cause!!!! ;) ;) ;) After wrangling from Lyndsay and Kirk, we finally made way to 1015.
Upstairs was too hot to dance or chill in. So spent nearly all the night in the main room. Vain was ok, if the bass was louder, I probably would have enjoyed it more. His GF was hot though. :eyes:
JB's set was sick. Great tunes bro, that really was what got my night started. AWESOME.
Blurr's set was everything I wanted it to be, uplifting to the max! I loved all the new tunes you dropped, my kinda trance ;) I know T Dizzle can relate!!!! :toothless Loved that Seven Cities remix too.
I guess Taj felt like blowing things up because I heard nothing but madness coming out the box. I havnt heard so many hard hitters in a night. One after another after another! :eyespop: :eyespop: :eyespop: :eyespop: :eyespop: :eyespop: If my body wasnt so tore up I would have dance the whole time. I guess I need to check my fuel grade, this new cleaner grade sucks!!! :whip:

Freakin youngsters kept me out all day Saturday! haha Had the goal of tearing up 1015 Sat night but nearly had every once of energy drained out of me in the first 15 mins due to the heat upstairs. I think the heat did the whole upstairs crowd in quick. Everyone was dragging the rest of the night. Max Vangelli was playing some cool tracks up until about the last hour of his set then it was totally out of touch gay music. At least he was enjoying it. My hero of the night....Michael Anthony. First time I've seen him spin. He did wonders with such a tired crowd - kept everyone dancing with some awesome tracks at a slower BPM.
Overall, turned out to be a pretty good night. Matt, I enjoyed bonding at the EU. haha Was actually a nice little infusion of energy to close the weekend. |

WOOOOOOOOOOOO! What a crazy night. I had so much fun and got hella drunk. This night was my style of music all the way. It was trance all night and uplifting too :eyes: The bpm's got nuts that night....140 140 140!!! :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :eyespop: :eyespop:
Blurr thank you for playing a number of tracks. I love that new Nitrous Oxide Remix :whip: Thank you for playing Nu Nrg - Kosmosy (Octagen Mix) and Daniel Kandi - Child <----i will never get sick of this track :toothless
Taj Thank you for playing Signalrunners - One Last Look. I hope somebody does a remix of this song so you can play that too
2 tall that was awesome that you enjoyed the uplifting trance that night and yes you did have a crazy boost of energy. It was the bpms i think.
I was very surprised at the amount of people that showed up. The storm outside was crazy that night at least thats what i heard. Overall one of my favorite nights at ten 15. |
