At least it was a good game. |

good game, but typical giants lost that game. giants have been losing gut wrenching losses like this all year. anyways, as much as we can bash on the pats, we can't deny the fact that they really did fill all the key positions during the offseason (moss, welker, adalius thomas). robert kraft opened up his checkbook, and it paid off well.
as for the afc playoffs, it's going to be real tough to beat brady and the pats at new england this year. it's like trying to avoid playing at green bay or chicago for the nfc. you do not want to play in the north during the playoffs. the weather is basically the 13th man on the home team. rolf.
btw, watching espn this morning, and they made a very interesting statistic. brady has been blitzed the most times this season, and has the best qb rating while blitzed. that must account for something .... well then again, i can be any qb who has randy moss or welker on my team. just heave it up to moss for an alley-oop, or dump it off for a 5 yard pass to welker. |

| Don't hold your breath, They will only be undefeated once they win the Superbowl, They still have to make it through the playoffs then win a Superbowl in order to be considered undefeated. |

oh most definately. in the playoffs, everyone is 0-0. you can just throw away everything from the regular season, because once the playoffs start, everyone(well most people) brings their A game. however, based on history, beating new england @ boston is just one tough thing to do. |

If that's really the case, why have we been beaten over the head with a stick by Mercury Morris for the last 6 months regarding the 72 Dolphins "perfect" season?
:conf:
They went undefeated in the regular season, period. No qualifiers needed. |

It's kind of hard not to like Brady and the Patriots. They are winners. I thought for a moment the Giants had the game, but who are you kidding? Giants are not a bad team though. They need a few more pieces, and they could be a dangerous team. They need another good WR.
They will win it all. The only team that might beat them is the Jags. Indy will never win in NE. |

I was thinking that too. I hate when people say "it won't matter if they lose in the playoffs!"
What if a baseball team won 162 games but lost in the WS?
People are silly. |

Well... I loved seeing the front page of the Boston Herald read: "Patriots trump 72 phins undefeated record..." then something like... "Pats 16-0 is more impressive and crap"
lol... but everyone knows here, that 19-0 is what we've been shooting for, 16-0 is no biggie... 19-0 will silence all the dumbass critics... (Mostly NY ******s)
I could care less about the Super Bowl, because the real Super Bowl will be the AFC Championship... and whoever makes it... Chargers or Colts, its gonna be amazing! Just because the Chargers are a bunch of whiny bitches led by Captain cry-baby LT... and I'd like shutting them down again, but it won't matter, cause Colts will kill the bolts, but it will be nice either way, cannot wait!!!
and much like Sox needing to off the Yanks in 04... Pats need to off the Colts, even though Colts are compared to Pats... but we need to off the Colts, so there is no bitching about..."Pats didn't have any compeitition, etc..."
I want the Steelers in the next round though... cause I don't HATE the Jags... I HATE the Steelers.... rather pound them... but I like the Jags, so I wouldn't be rooting for them to get killed...
ok i'm done.... |

See... I want the Patriots to win the whole thing. But it's Boston arrogance that makes me kinda wanna see the Colts pull the same thing this year and win again.
I'm sure the Colts are "" compared to the Patriots. Obviously the Patriots are the better team, but they're not THATTTT far off. The Colts could, feasibly, beat the Patriots. |
