Feeling better would be a start :p. but its not gonna make much of a difference until you purchase something big.

GST is down to 5%. And of course Canada will complain aobut it, theres too many hippies in Canada who love to hate anything associated with the conservatives. Of course hippies don't want to see tax cuts because they want more tax to pay their unemployement.

this is six and 1/2 dozen of the other.

I cant tell you how excited I am to know that I am shaving somewhere between 2 - 60 cents off of my years average purchases.

But I guess if you are rich/financially comfortable beyond the average Canadian you can now afford even better and more expensive extravagances that further divide you from the rest.....Heres to saving 7 cents for every can of food for the poor shopper!

Happy New Year,

Hippie.

geroin
wow big ing deal 1%

It's actually now been a 2% decrease in, what? 2 years?

So now I'm saving an average of 400 bucks a year compared to what I would have been spending 2 years ago with the Liberals in power (who promised to scrap the tax altogether 15 years ago)?

Politicians who keep their word? I'm cool with that.
