its always cheaper to fly into Ft. Lauderdale. You can save about $100 flying into to FT L. Its about a half hour taxi ride but if you go with friends the cost of the taxi ride is not so bad. I think even a private limo/car is about $60. |

i know but ur paying 4 gas and u have 2 pay twice
once arriving at Miami

Thanks Mishy! I think you spelled it wrong but I figured it out. You were lucky and smart to book early. I just tried with the Tuesday night red eye and the Sunday 8PM flight and it came out to 395. The Miami flights are going for 4 something so it looks like I'll keep lagging for now. (I know I'll prob end up paying something riduculous when I finally have to get it).
Ft Lauderdale from Long Beach with Jet Blue may be cheap as well. |

so you do have a free ride from Miami to the hotel? Like I said, even with rt taxi ride, it CAN be cheaper than flying into Miami. Availability is also a factor. Sometimes people fly into Ft. Laud because the flight time works better for them than ones offered into Miami. We could go back and forth on this but its a persons decision to fly into any airport they choose. |

I fly into FLL because there's direct flights from OC to there. John Wayne is only 5 min from my house and I can have my sister drop me off and pick me up at the airport. Plus, it's way less of a hassle and it's a pretty relaxed airport. But then again, I pay premium for these conveniences.
