T-Mobile's service just blows here in the US. I've heard numerous complaints from friends over the years as to why they hate T-Mobile.

However, T-Mobile UK was really good when I used their roaming service :)

They're service sucks though. With verizon i always have bars in Camp Pendleton, between mountains, in elevators. My roommate hase T-Muck and he doesnt even get service in our room. He has to go outside down 4 flights of stairs into the smoke pit to get crappy service. I let him use my phone most of the time. They need towers man!

all relative to where you live... when i was at ft. riley, kansas all of them sucked execpt for Sprint...

now that im in Tampa where there are towers every block, im fine..

T-Mobile has phones that can work over wi-fi, so he could have perfect reception in his room if you have wi-fi internet, they jump to the wi-fi signal when one is in range and use their regular minutes, not the hot-spot thing T-mobile does..

T-Mobile is cheap on pay as you go, but you can only have cheap texts and expensive calls and vice versa. Plus thier service is pretty good, I always seem to have signal.

What i find stupid is that they change thier previous deal (top up more than £10 a month to get free evening and weekend texts for the whole month) to a new one (top up by £15 or more on a friday only and you get free texts for that weekend only), and they still have the audacity to tell everyone how much of a good deal it is.

I hate that t9 , could never get used to it. It is supposed to save time but ends up being a waste of time in my opinion. I'm able to text relatively quick without the need to check if every character is ok, so the time i lose acknowledging if every word is written the proper way when using t9 ends up being a disadvantage.

Besides it is completely useless when you're trying to write a big text message right on the limit of characters you can write, and therefore end up abbreviating words.

I use it all the time. The predictive text on my last phone worked really well, and was pretty good at remembering constantly used words (I think 'lololololol' was one of them). On my current phone it's a little tricky to get used to, and I don't think it remembers some words (probably because it's from South America). Either way, still better than normal texting.

yes it's much faster and if you don't use it you're a monkey with a banana.
