| i am all about expressing yourself and whatnot but not at the expense of pissing everyone else around you off by one person taking up enough space for six. use glowsticks, photon lights, whatever but in a small area whipping those things around is not kosher in my book |

| the only glowsticker in this forum deserving of a space big enough for a circle is non other than Jay the ninja, aka hitokiri, all others are inferior to him. Case in point, his demonstration at Ronski Speed and Kyau and Albert. |

Dood I must say, that even tho this thread is only 3 pages, you have neglected to read carefully what people have written.
Who the hell said anything about standing or sleeping? (including vtec, who you responded this to?)
I, myself, specifically wrote that I was trying to bust out and dance but could not because of the inconsiderate people swinging those ******s around (esp at Tyas). And dont tell people to stay the home, because I am in the club FOR this "vibe" that you are talking about, and it gets ruined by getting hit in the head by glowsticks and being cramped into tight spaces because of these ing circles.
*how rude is it to think that you can take up an entire space for YOURSELF when everyone else has to squish together so you can do so? YOU ARE NOT a ing dictator, and entire club should not have to suffer because you are selfish and want for yourself!!!
And another thing, I do not come to clubs, and neither does vtec, to simply stand around and bitch. Never have and never will. But you BEST believe that if I am cramped, getting hit, and getting drinks spilled on me *because of* one dude wanting to play with the "pretty lights", I will say whatever the hell I want to the person causing my "bitching." Have some common sense and consideration. |

I love the underground ravers fo sho! But if your leaving the rave environment for the club, you kinda have to adhere to their rules and/or standards; and vice versa. You shouldn't walk around a rave like a pompus vip meathead, right? Nor should you be swinging your glowsticks in the way of someone who just put out a G for a table.
Time and place for everything is right; and sometimes you can push the edges. Love is pretty much a little raver nook (that was my impression) but as the clubers (and ravers) run down on venues, they are kinda combining. Since our reasons for being there, whichever, is music; that shouldn't matter in the end.
BUT ravers are all about PLUR right??? So if it's crowded, you would be really worried about hitting people near you, so you would definatley take your sticks off strings and hold them in your hands, to make SURE you don't hurt anyone, cause it's about the music, not you showing off your skills, RIGHT??
Same goes for breakdancers. If I get one more bloody nose or tooth broken out by some dude who thinks it's cool to break dance in a crowd over 1000, I might go to jail for murder. |

PS: to me its not about NEGATING the use of glowsticks, its about knowing WHEN to use them. period. |

It costs $650.00 to get my front tooth rebonded, and insurance doesn't cover it. At that point, plur goes right out the effin door LOL. (Cause if there were any PLUR in the first place, I wouldn't be missing said tooth ;)) |

thats just a nice way of sayin hes dope... and everyone else can off; first off who cares about whos better and whos not! i dont dont do it to battle i do it because i enjoy it and i can tell u many others do it just for the love and fun of it too; so lets not get selfcentered and throw around egos... |
