I was going to come into this thread and post "fish s" - but it's already been done, so I'll just reiterate the point that on New Years I ate a bunch of fish s.

They were also covered in a brown ginger sauce.

The idea that you ate fish s covered by some ginger's brown sauce both shocks and appalls me. :o

only the ring pieces look like s. the tentacled pieces just look like tentacles... and they're the tastiest. :toothless

In Ibiza I had calamari and they brought us this fried squid. Like...an entire squid that was fried :wtf:

It was ing delicious.

I ate the ring pieces once at a company dinner, without knowing what they were. Swear to God I thought they were little rings of mozerella. After eating several of them I asked my co-worker what it was and she told me.

I enjoy fish s too. :(

yup but yours aren't served as warm and greasy either :)
I know because I tried them in Sweden where they are similar to the Polish ones for "fat tuesday" :D
