The End of an Era - Turnmills Closing

Although an official date has yet to be announced, Turnmills Night Club will soon be closing its doors for good.

The club which has played host to some of the biggest names in the dance music industry such as Judge Jules , M.I.K.E , Matt Hardwick , Eddie Halliwell, and Dave Seaman , will soon become a distant memory to us all.

The venue will be transformed from one of the UK's most famous nightclubs into a five story office block which will consist of offices, a restaurant, bar, café, cycle parking, shower room and locker facility.

At the present time, there is no word on whether or not the Turnmills name will live on in another venue, but here's hoping it will!

Only been there once (The Gallery presents Paul van Dyk -- Friday September 8th, 2006). I thoroughly enjoyed myself, and had a quite the grin on my face ordering a beer at 5am (thanks to the 24 hour liquor license!).
