it's so true. I've seen some really AMAZING dj's go to because of the outside influences like people they associate with (ie druggies).

A LOT has changed since then. Toronto doesn't seem to have much of a trance community anymore, but of all the places in to choose to live in Canada, I always thought that Toronto was the "place to be" for any hope for up and coming dj's like myself. I swore I'd do my best to come here and do what I can to help support the trance scene in any which way possible! So here I am now, only 6 months on, and I've got myself a residency at a fantastic (and somewhat legendary) club, and will now be playing with International DJ's, such as Jon O'Bir, who inspire me very much!! :disbelief :disbelief :disbelief
Don't let time, people, or age ever discourage you from following your dreams! As small as they may be, each decision you make helps define who you are. And remember that by surrounding yourself with those who positively influence you and your dreams are best inspiration you'll ever get! :)
