For the last 4 years I have always been a keen producer of trance and the typical trancy like arpeggios/plucks/etc that we're all used to by now. I decided to revamp my style and this is a presentation of that change in pace.

I have not determined an artist alias yet though. :(

I like the early stages in this track. Some good elements which mesh together well.
The triplet lfo'd distorted lead just doesn't do it for me. It's a good idea and I like it before it is unfiltered but when it opens up it's just too in your face. That's simple preference though.
Your beat is cool but doesn't appear to be a trance drum beat at all because it is swung.
Another thing is I think the track suits its title.

In general a good track. Not my cup of tea but still containing loads of really professional elements.

Cheers

Thank you for your feedback. I was afraid that I wouldn't get anyone's opinion even with the 50 views to the thread. I'm getting mixed opinions on the lead, some like it and some don't; guess it comes down to preference as you mentioned. What I found is that everyone does enjoy the beginning, however, so I might take that into consideration if I decide to tackle this track again.

I was going for something I haven't tried before. I don't know if my pursuit has drove me off the cliff from EDM or not.

I sincerely hope you haven't driven off anywhere! Keep on producing even without goals as you're more likely to further develop your own style.
