Hi guys,

I just started a new progressive track & i would like to get some feedback on it. I can't think of a name for it so if you have any suggestions feel free!

You can stream it here:

- Very nice sounds throughout the beginning.
- I personally did not like the piano. It seemed too organic for the rest of the sounds in the song that seemed to be prominently electro-psy sounds. When the piano was cut off I found myself liking the song a lot more, however this could be a matter of taste.
- At the breakdown at 4:02, try filtering out one of your synths to give it a bit smoother transition. It got too silent too quickly.
- The buildup at this point seems to imply a nice comeback of sound however when the kick returns at 4:31 there is nothing there to satisfy my anticipation.
- I enjoyed this melody here that was introduced at 4:59.
- Very nice sounds from 5:40 and on.

I do not listen to a lot of psy-trance so I am unfamiliar with the structure of this genre but I found there was no "chorus", so to speak. I may be used to this from my years in trance and progressive so it could be just. From a technical standpoint everything sounds clear and vibe (?). I usually do not like psy-influenced tracks because of their lack of melodic-ness, however I enjoyed listening to this track. Good work.

This is exactly the kind of review i was looking for! I'll take note of the pointers that you've given. The majority of this tune has been done in one night so it still needs a lot of work.

I guess psytrance also might have a 'chorus' but i like my tracks to change constantly & don't like to repeat parts in the track.

Thanks for listening!

P.S. By the piano sound do you mean the sound that the track kicks off with in the intro?

first off all this is not progressive. more like a slowed down psy.

the synth work is nice, and i like it but it doesn't make me wanna listen again.

Yeah i produce 138-145 bpm psytrance normally so its not really like the kind of prog you guys are used to. Thanks for listening.

like this from the start, its got a new nrg feel to it, but slower. i like the rippy synth, it feels like it neens a bit more going on though like some pads or just more percusion to fill it out a bit. i tryed makeing psy once, could'nt do it. good stuff, you have probly herd of them but i thought id mentsion infected mushroom. they are very inspiering.;)
