eMagic Unitor8 8 port Serial MIDI Interface
Item is in good condition and works perfectly.
SERIAL CONNECTION. This item will not connect via USB. If you do not have a 9 pin serial port on your computer you can buy a PCI serial card for less than $20.
This is an 8 in / 8 out MIDI Interface that also includes VITC and LTC connections on the back. Will connect to a PC via standard RS232 9 pin serial connection or Mac via standard RS 422 serial connection. Also includes Mac serial Thru port. 7 in and 7 out ports on the back and 1 in / 1 out port on the front. Does not include serial cable.
Includes power supply. Standard 1U 19 inch rack mount. Does not include Manual or driver disk (available online).
No returns allowed. Will only ship to buyers in the United States.
I used this on my old PowerMac G4 and later on my PC based studio. Upgraded to a newer Mac Pro and was forced to replace with a USB interface.
