maybe, I'm not sure if they are doing that or playing around with the eq's......I'm starting to get into DJing and was just wondering.
For example at like 1:15 in this vid. (It's Niki Belucci so just watch anyway cause she's hot). She is spinning a knob and then hits play with the other hand, I wanna know what she's doing :o

| lol, nice choice of an example. at 1:15 she's playing with the effects knob. the reason she hits play when the beat starts is because that's when the new phrase of the song started, so she was just cueing up the next track getting it ready to be mixed. |

Any idea what the effect is? can't tell with my noob ears.
So at this point, is the other track she just hit the play button for already beatmatched? |

Sounds like a reverb effect on what looks to be a DJM-800 mixer.
Yeah, she's already likely beatmatched and is dropping the next track in. |
