DJ Shah. The guy is good. Nice to hear a non-Dutch trance DJ making waves. |

How did Sven make it in the same section as those groups? lol. Looked like you were dividing your list into 'sounds'.
I don't think Orbital (or any members) do any shows anymore. Underworld is still on the top of my must see list, but looking at their (and Chem Bros) tour schedules, they just have no interest in Toronto. They play NYC, LA, Miami, and most of Asia(!), but not Toronto.
Just a damned shame. |

For those of you interested in seeing Underworld here in Toronto (for me again... sadly for msot it looks like it'd be the first time) I've recently started sending off emails & creeping through the Underworld forum (http://www.darktrain.org/dirty/foru...display.php?f=5).
Now what, you may ask, is he on about this time?..... well, follow along with me here folks.
The founding members of Underworld, Mssrs Smith & Hyde are also founders of an art collective called Tomato.
So I've recently started tagging them with requests to get involved with Nuit Blanche.... as this is right up their alley (most certainly after the Oblivian Ball shows they put on in Tokyo in Nov.).
So I'm looking for a little help with this folks...not even sure how to go about it other than direct pestering at this stage.... but if you've seen what they can do, well, then you'll understand how well they'd fit in doing some level of exhibition combined with peak time show.
Failing that, I'd also like to state that I'm appalled that no one has chased after them in years (even though they still state this frequently in interviews) to book them for their favourite time to perform, as part of a large party/club night, as they simply destoyed Ultra in Miami in 03, and in a places like Guvvy, this would easily be replicated.
Anyway, that's the first Underworld rant of the season for me.... you can probably expect at least one more over the summer lol.
But I'm serious about getting these guys involved in Nuit Blanche.
