Indeed. I think that carries over a bit into NW Indiana too as I know South Bend has a large Polish community too. |

what are you looking for?
city? rural life?
girls? clubs?
details, man! details! |
I'd prefer a city/rurual mix... Upstate NY was great while I was in college, because the upstate cities aren't like LA/NYC cities... still kind of rural cityish. I suppose as city as the country can get?
Girls... Well, I don't think new york tends to breed the best of women, or men either... but really, just where the women are easy on the eyes, easy on the wallet, and easy on the heart strings... I suppose a decent woman could be found anywhere, but probably is much harder in NYC... When I went to college, I had a much more diverse crowd of girls. I got used to the idea that you could approach a woman without her being a bitch. That's not so much the case here.
Clubs, DEFINATELY trance/house scene... My mother lives in Las Vegas, and I am considering moving there, but the club scene there is pretty pop/rap/etc and not that much trance or house, as far as I've seen. I don't think I could live in a place where I didn't have something to do on my weekends.
I don't think I could/would move to Europe, I'm going to law school at some point, so to be in Europe wouldn't really allow me to do this.
And I'd prefer good sociable people! |

Poland. That's where I grew up as a kid. *waits for jokes* :p
Everyone I've come to meet there has been very real compared to people I have met in the U.S. |
I'm half polish, and I'd love to take a vacation to poland to find myself a wife! I'm told that real polish women know how to take care of a man, real old fashioned! |

I'm from the Pacific Northwest and I don't particularly recommend it for clubbing purposes. We are nice and Portland has a little big city feel but you'll have to haul yourself to Vancouver/Seattle for parties and their scene isn't like NYC where we get someone good almost every weekend. NW is a great place to raise a family though and there are a lot of East Europeans although mostly Russian. People in general are nice, whenever I fly back home I'm surprised by how pleasant people are there compared to Manhattan.
I hear good things about Denver too...
If you want to marry some nice Polish girl why don't you find an Americanized one at church? Getting one fresh off the boat might seem good at first but she might be too old fashioned...what you really need is a maid/cook not wife. |

This is true if you're into Trance or House or whathaveyou. However, Seattle has an incredibly bustling Techno scene, though it's a bit more "underground." Smaller parties but still larger names and an incredible vibe. |
