| My parents stay at the Days Hotel on W94th. Its uptown, but its a GREAT neighborhood and is literally steps from the express train (2 & 3), so you can be in midtown in 5 minutes. |

| go to craigslist, and sublet an apt for very cheap |

| yes there are tons, just look in the sublet section of craigslist, you will save lots of money and the apartments are nicely furnished. |

| Definately, it'd probably be cheaper for you to sublet a place for a month than to stay in a manhattan apartment for a week. Or, consider a hostel if you JUST need a place to crash. Depends how much you are looking to spend. Either way, you can do better than the $100-250+/night rates that hotels are going to charge you. |
