Someone (named "Real Man") just ICQ'd me and gave me this URL and started talking about getting into business for USD $70. On the site, it doesn't describe too much so, can any of you try to figure out what it all means and is it worth it (this is a tricky one!)? What I mean is: Would YOU do it if this offer was thrown at you? |

lol dude.. you accept all spam?? and than also go to the site??
any site where you have to find out yrself what its about is a bad site.. it should be clear within 30 seconds whats the site about.. c lear navigation 2.. nways.. this is just gay spam imho.. some dude who wants to "train" you and get yr money |

yeh, there is tons of spam on icq
a few months ago i got one that said something like: 'hi, im britney, i want to make friends on the internet, here is my page www.blablabla.com..', which was basically her private/pay porn site!
so i pm'ed her back and told her to herself (as my mate had already got this a while back and so i knew it was spam)
she then said 'excuse me' and said something else,
then i told her that i know spam when i see it, and she did not reply,
so i blocked her.
i tend to block anyone who sends anything like this cos u never know who they are! |

I hate those kind of spam! I get it a lot and I end up just hitting the "Ignore" button! |

Hey guyz,
For some reason at night when I go to bed and I leave my icq on in the morning I used to get like 10 to 15 of those stupid porn site mother ing requests, I really never tried to block anybody though I just discarded them, but I now that I got the new icq ver. I do not get so many any more, maybe icq did something about the spamming , but I really don't know. I also get in my e-mail about 5-10 messages a day for stupid advertisement spam , I can tell you that all that that comes to you is just some stupid ;heist so people can take your money away from you, if you even go beyond ;the -email and click on there page, then you have already lost and they have made money. Some other things that are like this is those stupid POP camera adverts. they rearlly ing suck,...
Well anyway, don't pay attention to that !!!! |

| the best thing to do is come off like a serial killer. Start asking where they live and do they have a gun in the house? Are you single? If you went missing would anyone notice and how long would it take for them to realize you were gone...people leave you alone almost immediately lol |

I had this problem too, but it's sooo easy to solve it, just switch off that others may see your online/offline status on the net and there's nearly no spam any more!
I got two spam-messages since I switched it off ... lol :p |
