His sets are getting longer and longer, so he does add others' productions, that work well with his style of productions.
One example... Pryda's Muranyi (f'in love that track) was a great addition to his set in Windsor 2 weeks ago. It was very complimenting to his style. I knew that track was coming since he was working on it during his last Stickcam session with us, so it was great to hear him play it there. Can't wait till February! |

In no particular order
Apr 7: Sander van Doorn@the Rum Runners (London)
-Hard tech trance ftw. Even better than his set at the Guv previous year. Was this one of the first times Riff got played out live?
Apr 21: Markus Schulz@Armada night, the Guv
-Before this, I thought Schulz was a bit of cheese trance DJ, but totally blew my mind with some of the sickest prog house mixed in well with his style of progressive trance. Totally one of the sets of the year for me. (May have been made so much better because Armin sucked big time)
Apr 22: Andy Moor@Fluid
-It's like being at a small party. Only 100 or so people, but Andy Moor played tunes after tunes. (though mixing was nothing special) One of the best vibes at a party with true Andy Moor fans coming out.
July 1: Steve Lawler @ the Skybar (the Guv)
-So so set at the main room, but sketch-tastic drugged up music on the Skybar. So totally awesome. Wish it was longer.
Aug 5: Daft Punk @ Arrow Hall
-event of the year. Finally seen one of the legends of EDM
Oct 7: Carl Cox @ Guv 11yr
-Carl Cox is the muthaing King. When he got down to play some really hard pounding beats, it was so awesome
Oct 7: Ferry Corsten @ Guv 11yr
-Ferry is still my fav DJ and he delivered the goods in this 8 hr set |

Other than our locals who I was out to see every weekend for the first 6 months of 2007... it would be:
Feb ?: Talla 2XLC - Kool Haus
April 7th: Sander van Doorn - Rum Runners
August 5th: Daft Punk - Arrow Hall
December 22nd: Tony Rohr & Chris Liebing - Footwork
Most of my fave sets of 2007 were really enjoyed outside of Toronto! |
