| Hello. What's Timo playing these days? I'm asking because I hear he may be coming up here to play in the near future. I assume he's not playing "wet and hard" anymore? I was a big fan of that sound he had going on 2000/2001. Music For The Maases and Connected were both superb albums. And I’m sure I speak for most people on here in that you must have hammered Ubik and Der Schieber back in the day. I know I certainly did! What's your opinion of him as a DJ/Producer? |

Wet and hard?
...
What?
I've never in my life heard anyone describe a genre as 'wet' |

Some of the best nights of my life have involved Timo Maas behind the decks. I couldn't tell you what he's playing at the minute though I'm afraid. The whole 'wet & hard' thing died with Corvin Dalek though fortunately.

That's probably because you're about 16. |

He's playing minimal/tech-house nowadays. Just downloaded this recent radio set of his and it starts off with 'Petre Inspirescu - Sakadat'. Classy
Actually, that set is all over the place. There's some Cocoon techno, tech-house, almost deep-house (Afrilounge - Lux Dementia) and it ends proggy (Sasha - Park It In The Shade and the last tune).
So I don't really know what you should expect :wtf: |

His Global Scum set recorded few days ago. But, however, you can expect everything from him. |

| Last time I saw him (a year ago) he was spinning the dirtiest tech house ever... dark music, expect nothing but darkness. |

| Does he still only use vinyls during his performances? |

I've still got this cd in my car and break it out every now and again. in excellent mix.
I seen timo maas a year ago and he was pretty good. His mixing was all over the shop but the tunes were decent enough. Remember he finished his set at coloursfest 2006 with carl craigs remix of revelee - first time I heard that tune and thought it was brilliant. |
