New Music - Progressive House

I've been recently mixing and have moved on to producing music using the program Ableton on my PC. This song encompasses all things that I've learned while using Ableton's Operator with the exception of being able to make my own kick/snare/hi-hat and anything else percussion related. I still do not fully understand it and learn something new every time I try and record a new song. So if you've heard the kick and splash before its because they are presets :( If you don't have the time to download the track and would rather listen, visit my page on myspace.com/kennethkobrin. this is very nice :) i really like the melodies you use and overall harmony of the track, the only thing you could you work on is the veriation on percussion, you know.. that it wouldn't sound so repetitive..
but don't worry about not making you own percussion sounds, it ok to use samples.. you can always use saturator, erossion, etc or even (or first of all) eq in ableton to change it in a way you like it |

thanks for giving the track a chance. i really have been trying to hammer out tracks but only until i think they are ready to be "heard", ya know? and youre absolutely right about the percussion section of this song. i'm going to try and rewrite it and make it not sound so repetitive. but thanks again for your honest opinion for it helps me write better music. just wish i could get this post more attention and have more people write in on what they thought of the track.
