Only time will tell on whether this is as great as it's made out to be. A lot of visuals can detract from the real reason why we'll all be there.
I'm of course talking about the great drink specials during WMC. :tongue2 |

| Like it or not, it's def the direction he is heading. I'm sure many will follow suit. His DVD set last year was pretty cool @ Shine. Most importantly, still awesome awesome choons played. |

+1 to that. my first experience ever with space and the terrace was last year for sander. still one of my favorite nights clubbing ever!! so much fun! |
+1 too. my first space terrace experience also. it took about 45 mins to get inside space and another 1.5 hrs to get up to the terrace. yes, the waiting in line sucks especially the one for the terrace, but it's worth the wait. i stayed until the last record spun at 2pm: sander's remix of "enjoy the silence" (depeche mode).
and don't forget the shades! |

I'm on the fence about Space this year...I really want to see Morillo/Kleinenberg but it may not be worth the trouble...
A party to consider is anything coming out of Nocturnal (ie AM Only Party)...they have a Terrace...that party if it has Hawtin again this year, may be enough for me to say no to Sander |

Last year, I left the marathon Josh Gabriel set at Pawn Shop to go to Space for Sander on the terrace, which turned out to be a huge mistake. We got into Space at about 4am, and ended up leaving at about 6:30. Maybe I wasn't patient enough, but the entire time that I was there, security was not letting anyone that didnt have exposed or large bribes on the terrace.
PVD was downstairs, and it was killing me, so I left. Anyone else experience this? Anyone else actually make it onto the Terrace last year? As much as I really want to see a Sander set there, I'm really not too keen on returning to Space after that experience. |
I went to Sander on the Terrace in 2005, 2006 and last year. I hate to hype it up because there is only so much space up there and I don't want to be left out. You just have to get there early, WITH A TICKET and be patient. The Space people moving system works if you don't try to squeeze another club into your schedule that night and you are patient.
Last year I got to Space around 10:30 and stupidly stayed downstairs until 2, then I noticed the line to go up top. Whoops! I guess I waited too long to change locations. Anyway, it took about an hour of putting up with all of the 'people' pushing, shoving, bribing, cussing and name calling before that glorious admission to the roof was granted. Worth every second. |

| the only way to avoid the lines is get there early...i get to space for the events i go to by 1030 and theres actually already a decent amount of people there...as for the terrace ive only had trouble gettin up there once so i cant complain...sometimes if u go to the other stairwell the main crowd isnt tryin to go up...the bouncers will let u take the exit stairwell..worked for me a few times...ask nicely |
