| Obama must be doing something right if he's a black man that can make his way up politics to the point of presidential candidate. So all the power to him, also America has a few movies and shows that portrays a black president (ie. 24, deep impact, etc) so it's slowly de-sensitizing the idea of a black president, except for all those elite Confederate states (Alabama) Just my two cents. |

Vrk I dont really see the point of continuing with idiots and horrible foreign policy and people disliking americans. I think it would work out best if our country (esp conservative rich christian types) got their heads outta their asses and stopped to think that there are more people out there besides themselves. will it happen? who knows? Even the people I know voted for Bush are so frustrated, disillusioned and frustrated with the way truned out. We all know people will continue to suffer if another GWB is elected. I think anything is an improvement imo, but it doesnt really make sense to wish for the continuation of a bad trend. |

true, you will never get everything you want when everything down to the littlest thing is voted on. But I think Americans as a whole are extremely frustrated with the way is going right now, and I dont think others really see that. Trust me, we dont live in our homes with GWB shrines. :rolleyes: |

thats the scary part. i can only imagine how many more votes he's gonna get bc of opera's endoursement of him.
its scary to think about how powerful of an influence she is / is going to be.
CBC recently did a radio broadcast show that covered this topic... a lot of women who have never cared in teh past and not voted said that they will be voting this year, and it'll be for obama (bc of opera's endoursement of him). |
