any of you guys use Mp3 players to record your sets? and if so which ones..

I am thinking about getting the creative zen as it has in line recording and can record @ 128 and 160.

Teac MP360 was pretty good for me...untill it died :( dunno why...

I use an old laptop to record, but you could also look at the Cowon U3 (or is it U2?). From what I remember, it has a line-in as well, but may only be able to record in WMA format (unless I'm confusing that with a Meizu M6, which only has a built-in microphone).
T-Soma
The m-audio micotrack II looks pretty cool. Kinda pricey tho.

Also check out the Edirol R-09.

Personally I use a Samson Zoom H2 flash recorder. $199, with a 4 gig card (under $50) I can record over 6 hours in WAV quality.

It's a more pro solution than something like the creative, but obviously more expensive.
Spirit5
Creative Nomad Jukebox 3 (it's 6 years old but still works).

I also use a Creative Zen V Plus but it only records 128/160 kbps MP3s..the Nomad Jukebox 3 does WAV and 320 MP3s.

ya im not really concerned about recording in WAV.. 128 will do fine as it will just be for promo mixes and nothing more.

eventually I will be getting a laptop later on down the road to record.

128 is very low these days, even for promo mixes. 192 or higher...

damn, I don't really wanna spend anymore then $150.00..

128 isn't ok for promo mixes?

I listen to sets that are recorded at 128 and they sound ok.
