Hi every1

I need some help on logic 5.5 using bus channels for effects, if i bus all the drums to bus 1 and add a low pass filter effect for example when i turn the frequency down it dosent go low as it should when i do them indivually, i could do them seperate but that would take cpu up. as i read the forum they say bus the kick n bass together and add a compressor but if i done that it wouldnt hav the effect it should do cos when using any effect on the bus channel it doesnt have the full effect as indivual.

if any1 could help that would be great ive tried wording the best i can hopefully you will understand

Cheers

Do you use the sends or route the outputs to a bus channel?
BulknSkull
I use the sends

:)
Chronosis
Sends only send a copy of the original signal (in a certain amplitude) to its destination channel. The original signal still goes to its own ouput (usually the master).

So in short: Change the outputs to the bus channel, and draw the sends back to zero.

so when im on the bus channel change its output from bus 1 to output 1-2 is it and turn sends dwn to 0,

:)

i just set the 3 instrument cahnnels to bus 1 then on the bus channel changed its output to output 1-2 n its sorted now. i just put low pass filter on them and it turns all the way down as it should.

Thank you very much for ur help much appreciated

for any future questions about logic, you should try out omega art's FAQ:

http://logicfaq.omega-art.com/

it's pretty much a 101 for anything logic-related.
