I think you mean; "GIANT purchases Circus", no?
I still love the Circus venue. It's the mess they've been in for the past couple of years now, in terms of Promoters and Talent that sucks.
But GIANT, I doubt, could or ever, or would ever, be able to purchase that place. Price being one factor...but more importantly, the way Gene feels about Dave being the other.
But it's always nice to dream... |

| It would be tough too considering Vanguard has the better sound system and a stage for the DJ and the entourage. Imagine a big DJ like Benny at Circus in that tiny booth with people trying to grab him, it would be chaos. |

| ^^^Yah, I love the Vanguard venue equally (but for slightly different reasons) with Circus. But they've always been able to keep the crowd at bay over at Circus. It's a tight fit in that booth, for sure, but on the flip side, some of the DJ's prefer being down in the crowd like that, they've said. It feels more interactive for them. |

Did you already forget Rukes? CIRCUS also has a stage for the DJs if that's what they prefer. :)
