need a new name

| so i'm moving to a new radio station, and that want me to change my dj / on aim name. it was CSB, but i really don't have many ideas. Only one i could think of was Saint John, because its my middle name. Gimme some motivation or some ways to get some motivation or something people. My first show is in 4 days with the new station. |

| Are u a radio dj or a radio personality? Why the hell do they want u to change your name? Do u play in clubs? I know I spent yrs building my name/reputation and would hate to change it. When people see Flurr on the billboard at a club they know I will be there. If friends or fans see that they are more likely to come. And I am also on the radio weekly - I go by the name flurr on the radio too. Its free advertising! Not only do my friends and fans come to my gigs, but people who hear me on the radio (and like what they hear) see my name and stop in. if I changed my name for the radio I would lose free advertising. If I changed my name alltogether I would have less people at my gigs and have free advertising (for my new name). Its a lose/lose situation. I don't know your exact situation but I myself would try to let me keep my original name. |

You're in the bay area...you should know there is a "saint john" on 94.9. Hes been using that name for well over 10 years. |
