I have tried the new model Technics and they are a little too bulky for me, but I know a lot of people that use them and say they are great.

They look like they might swivel too much though; I still like the kind with the anchor swivels (I'm totally making up words right now!). My roomie has kind where the ear parts flop in all directions; I like them to bend and twist but not go everywhere.

well since you don't actually DJ out anywhere, it's not that big a deal. Just get some decent ones that are comfortable for cheap.

I've never had a problem with them swivelling too much but you can also lock them in place to avoid that all together

if you have a small head like i do .. go with the techniques.. I love them, they fit great. i dont like the pioneers cuz they're so light .. feel cheep to me

hell yea, I sometimes produce in mine too. Very natural response in the mids, clear highs, accurate lows (not too boomy, but strong).
