| if anyone is looking for a fairly cheap hotel near ultra and space i stayed at the clarion i think by 4th or 2nd st downtown was like 10 blocks from space and ultra and rates were reasonable |

I stayed there 4 years ago and it's not bad for the price. I was also in ft. lauderdale last weekend and talked to a couple that just stayed there and they said it was nice, so nice in fact that they were going back. The rooms are tiny but there is a.c., a fridge, tv, and a full bathroom. plus it's right in the middle of the action. enjoy.
