Plus, you can finally hide the internal mixer if you're in external mode. Woohoo!
Namm is in a few days so hopefully we'll hear something about the 1.5 update there.
In the meantime, lots of good fixes here. |

It might be, but I think they could also be referring to the key lock algorithm. Supposedly it's much better sounding now. Haven't installed it yet! |

I got used to not using the keylock.. it really made my sound weird haha
i generally dont have to chipmunk my tracks while regular mixing |

Yeah same here.
I did use it for the last track on my latest mix below in my sig and it came out a lot better than I expected. (I mixed into a Linkin Park track that was like 20+ bpm slower.) |

Just upgraded and no problems.
Two big complaints of mine were addressed.
1. The sluggish browser is no more. It's finally responsive and loads quickly.
2. External users can now hide the internal mixer which equals a much larger browser space below the decks...awesome.
Looking through the torq.pref file, there's some new stuff added like auto gain that hasn't yet been activated. (It should be in v.1.5 which, hopefully, will follow NAMM in a few days.) Auto gain should be great for vinyl users as many have reported volume drops going from regular vinyl to Torq vinyl. |

| I installed 1.06 last week on my mac, how did you hide the internal mixer? |
|

| look in torq.prefs theres a setting called hideinternalbrowser or something like it.. change the 0 to 1 |

Thanks, it worked, looks nice now
but it did take me a while to open the torq.prefs file, still learning how things work on a mac.
I ended up opening it with textedit, it initially tried to open with scripteditor but it gave an error. |
