SiMPLE Saturdays, the last Saturday of every month at Anu in San Francisco.
Phil K is one of Australia's biggest dance exports. In addition to mixing CDs for Balance, Renaissance and Distinctive, as a producer he's won over techno, progressive and breaks fans for his tightly-produced collaborations with Habersham, Luke Chable (as Lostep), Andy Page (as Hi-Fi Bugs) and Ivan Gough (as Dark Alley).
Recently Phil K's been back in the studio, this time recording a new mix for Australian dance label Central Station. 'Phil K's Hi-Fi' includes techno (D.I.M), breaks (Layo & Bushwacka!), minimal/tech house (M.A.N.D.Y, Oliver Huntemann) and funky tech (Claude VonStroke) as well as the latest Hi-Fi Bugs track. |

| i was gonna check out tommie sunshine, but screw that. phil k is the ! i still remember when lostep played over at club six. the music that night was incredible. nice to see some saturday parties from satellite too :cool: |

yeah he is... it's great that he's playing at a venue where the dj booth is on the ground and not isolated from the crowd too. |

how does he play or what does he play?
He plays amazing tunes and is, like I said, technically the best dj you will ever see.
I will try and put a link up to one of the sets we recorded live when he was out last. |
