Had mine for a while...using it with both Tracktor Scratch (using the EVO as the interface) as well as Ableton. So far, works GREAT! :D

Man, I'd love to demo one of these suckers, but I don't know any store around here that carries them.

I've had a chance to play with this thing in Ableton so far, and its great. The sound quality is EXCELLENT: even better than my old Nuo 4 I would say. The thing is extremely flexible, all MIDI controls + FX can be easily edited with the LCD.

On my 1.86ghz Centrino laptop, I can manage 10ms latency. On my quad core, I think I can get down to 3-4ms. Not bad at all, and certainly low enough for responsive MIDI control.

My only gripe at this point is the FX cannot be applied to the MIX OUT of the EVO: you can only use them on a channel in audio mode (not possible to do FX in full MIDI mode). However, Jordi Piertro over at Ecler says a new firmware is coming that corrects this issue. Obviously, this is awesome news. Ecler has been updating this thing regularly, and Jon (Soundwerks) and Jordi are very helpful and responsive.

For anyone on the fence about getting this over the Korg Zeros: I would definately reccomend the Evo over both the Zero 4 and Zero 8. I haven't had a chance to play on either of them, but from what I've heard their have been issues with the sound quality and the sound card: two areas I don't think anyone paying $1500+ for a mixer should have to compromise in.

I'll post a more complete review in the next couple days, as there isn't much third party info about this thing presently available.

Great! I'm glad you like it! I'm also happy to hear about the firmware upgrade.
