| am not a trance head but I have to admit Astrix has earned his spot as one of the top dj's in the world. Josh Allen put it down very nicely as well, glad they stayed clear from the cheesy melodic epic crap. :toocool: |

to me... this party was the best party ive ever went to overall...
it couldnt be any better than that other than blonde mohawk dude should stop pushing on the damn AIR HORN!!!
first off the night started with DJ Joshua Allen... as i've told you Josh, great set... and keep doing what youre doing, you're style is very unique, progressive psy trance dark trance whatever evil beats ur spinning is crazy! great way to start the night and u build it up just perfect for Astrix.
Astrix... my fourth time seeing him, definitely has some great new tracks from his new album that i never heard before. Around 1 hour into his set he play this song with some tech sound, man! i was flying high looking down on the earth!!!! The bassline was crazy during Astrix set. this is by far the best set ive seen from Astrix so far (ive seen his 2 live sets before, this dj set was up par with those)
Then... the best part of the night is Astral Projection, right off the first song they hit it off RIGHT!!! totally unexpected performance by these guys! actually the best one of the night between the headliners! They played some older song with a lovely GOA touch but it all sounded different and again, THE BASSLINE was insane... thats totally how you throwdown a psy party, good job Astral Projection!

DJ BOB!!! my GOd!!! the best closing performance ive ever seen by any djs ever! ive never feel like i had to stay until 6 am before, but because of Bob's insane set... mind told me to stay altough body's tired.... A touch of Psy and dark trance all in all very evil and thats how we like it...
LA... you guys know how to throw a great party... your local djs are top notch!!! i definitely will fly down there more!!!
TA's... nice to have meet you, i was kinda all over the place that night... but was great to see ya Gypsygirl, Trancetink, Psiweaver, Josh Allen and others! Will see ya again in March 1st for the maddness of CL and J00f!!!!

It was great ot meet all you TA's i can't wait for CL/J00F maybe we can have a TA dinner with CL and J00F before the event? i know Gypsy your in contact with J00F. I think that it would be really fun.
Josh that was a great opening set really like the nice progression. what the was up with the curtain though. I really don't like that promoter. How were you supposed to read the crowd Josh with the curtain down in front of you.
I really enjoyed Astrix's set was banging. Great rock solid transitions the whole way through very nice energy.
Astral's set was very good as well great basslines.
Overall the event was lots of fun. The sound was very good in the venue.
My only cons are that guy with the mohawk screaming into the microphone randomly and using his air horns i was hoping that someone would tranq him in some way. The lighting at times was a little bright for my taste but the music was great.
Can't wait to see you guys all out at vanguard for CL and J00F on the 1st. |

Glad to hear all the TA's had fun. My thoughts on the night...
First off, the crowd was quite different then the past few events. Seem to be less israelis then usually, and more ravers. I had a blast playing, and the crowd response was amazing.
Obviously, Astrix set was phenomenal. And he is serious such a nice guy. He is very humble and well spoken. One of the most humble international DJ's i have met.
But Astral Projection was amazing. I enjoyed their set much more then astrix stuff, which is a bit to full on for my taste. Astral played a much more goa sound that was very deep, dark, and the basslines were just rediculous. I am going to be sure they get out here again this year.
As for the promoter, well they do things a bit different there. I will be sure to hide those horns if he ever brings them out again. Nobody in the place liked them. I got like 10 emails today telling me how bad they were lol.
Any way, i have some videos I am uploading right now that came out great, i will post them asap.
Nice to meet some new ta's. Mecca, and his lady, psiweaver, trancetink, and a few others. SO fun to play to so many familiar faces. See you all at Joof and CL!! |

| had a fun night as well...great set Josh, and good to meet you! psiweaver and mecca, good to meet you as well. thought astrix was perfect, though i didnt get to meet him!! maybe next time. I didnt stay long enough for Astral's set but thought it was alright, astrix is more my style. hope to see you all again soon, pretty sure im coming out for JOOF and CL. |
