does something like this exist? instead of mixing in ur room alone u could mix in front of a virtual crowd that could comment on transitions and u could listen to new songs played by fellow dj's

but it should be open for all, maybe divided by styles

wonderful idea imho

i just started spinning live on Stickam.com Its like a webcam myspace, where anyone even without an account can view/listen to your sets. Ive been doing it for a little bit without a webcam, but I just got one so I can get more listeners. If this site got enough people, i could see good things with it.

No it doesn't exist... you defenitly won't be yet another radio station that lets tons of crappy bedroom djs (theres tons of great ones too... just pointing out most don't care if your good... at least not the new stations).

And you defenitly can't tune in to your non existent station and listen to other djs and not share advice.

Seriously dude have you been stuck under a rock?

The one I personally listen to... (haven't done any sets in a while so won't comment there) is techno.fm ... most of the time they are playing sets (I hate net radio stations that 95% of the time play singular songs) and the sets I've heard so far have been great... better then any of the other stuff I've heard up to an extent.

Also 8 channels... 7 genre and one live couldn't set it up better myself tbh.

An official tranceaddict one would be interesting... since you might actually know some of the people... as well as them being more likely to actually post. However IIRC swamper has said he probably wouldn't want to.

Make a thread here, and whenever anyone wants to, they can post when they are going to be spinning a Stickam set. I think that might work.

you can also apply for an entertainer or a music page on stickam. It's worth a shot and think it would be a real big site if it had more exposure. Myspace blocks any reference to it by the way

regarding stickam i really hope not that this is what the internet is becoming..... i really don't care for watching other ppl use their computers(probably while watching other ppl do the same)
