of course i have. but its not like it sends you deaf man. all im tryna say is u coulda been a lil more polite about it and asked him to post up a higher bitrate version. I understand what he's doing. He doesnt want someone to steal the track and try and demo it so he uses lower bitrates. You act like his track is worthless jsut because of the bitrate.

But to Rinster: could you post please up at least a 128kbps version? I am quite the audiophile myself and dont like really hearing anything below 192kbps:p

anyone who produces or dj's knows you cant analyze a track that low in bitrate. you wouldnt even be able to hear most of the sounds never mind try and find a suitable label. i post samples on here at 192 or full tracks at 128. tracks get stole regardless whether you post them on a forum or not. so many tracks have been imitated after release. and besides i dont really think there are that many people out there ready to pounce and steal a track from an unknown producer.

well not really "Unknown"..

Armin Van Buuren played my track "Out The Water" on ASOT 307..

and so did Markus Schulze & Dj Amps from Amplified Digital etc..

still unknown mate. your not known cus armin plays your tune. you dont become properly known until your releasing cracking tunes consistently. can take years. i mean id stay 99.9% of people who heard your name would say nah never heard of him.

im not being a **** its just the way it is. and how many people do you know on this forum who post their tracks here have had them stole? how do you steal it anyway by copying the melody? happens all the time. its part and partial of the industry.

alright man we get your point.

any comments on the track itself? :)

has a good arrangment and nice sounds going on. im listening in headphones but it sounds like it needs more low end. lacks some warmth.

im not liking the progression when it kicks in at 0:54. id have a look at that and change it. i would even have the same chord playing for 3 bars then mix it up on the fourth. again it lacks something when it kicks in after the breakdown.

im not feeling the melody. it isnt catchy enough. the track is definately missing a hook.

the kick and percussion all sounds fine. the bass needs more low end. melody needs improvement. sounds are nice but a bit more work is needed before a label will consider it.

good luck!

thanks for the reply man, but remember you were listening to a 128Kbps version. the mastered 320Kbps version has more low/high ends etc. about melodies hmm.. maybe you should listen to it again ;) has about 4 in it.. what kind of melody improvement would you suggest, and please tell me what lacks at your mentioned 0:54. cheers man.
