filling up an ipod without using itunes

i want to drag and drop using explorer, or winamps media lib. |

| I use winamp, i find it easy enough, its pretty much drag and drop. the newer versions allow it, its under the portable device part. never seen a version to use windows explorer or anything like that, but if you come across it, let me know. |

right asstance required pls... got media library open, and explorer.
i just dragged a folder to the ipod window of media library...and the files didnt appear...?
ah..ive just clicked 'sync'...which did something |

Been using it on my shuffle, and it works flawlessly - for the shuffle I just drag and drop the audio files onto the ipod, drag the exe file into the main dir, run the exe and it renames and sequences all the files.
I've never used it on a regular ipod, but I know some that do and say it works well. |
