hi people...
about to get my first set of decks, 2 1200M3Ds.. both are used. one is a couple of years old, the other a couple of months.
I'm new to vynil in general.. been mixing with CD Decks and a PC for a while, but havn't had much time on tables.
Is there a good way to check the calibrations on both decks, to make sure both are working properly.. that doenst require any special equiptment? I guess i'm just wondering if 0 pitch on both decks is the same, etc... or any other sort of worries.

not sure when they came out.. the seller specified the deck is 2 years old but i havnt seen a receipt...
that's what i thought, used 1200's seemed like a safe purchase

sorry meridan i misread the first thread!
im presuming it will be the MK3 thats a couple of months old and the MK2 thats a couple of years old! anyways no matter what they are still a safe bet because they are built to last like FOREVER! happy spinning! |

I think the MK3's came out in the USA ages ago, like a couple of years back
They only came out in the UK at the end of last year, same time as we got colour telly :stongue:
