Today is my last day at Walmart. I'm just going to ramble on about it.
Walmart is very anti-union. They will shut down an entire store just to avoid it. During my "training" they showed up 3 "pro-associate" videos that tried to persuade the associates that unions are bad.
Walmart doesn't persecute people that steal anything less than 25 dollars. If you do get caught, they will take your picture again so that if you should repeat the offense you might be prosecuted.
If you ever wanted to demagnetize something yourself, just go to any cash register at the front and slide it across the grey plastic area until it beeps.
The people working at the customer service area, don't even bother to check the contents of the stuff I have returned; I might as well returned a box full of cinder blocks than a 37" TV. That goes for Best Buy as well. I returned a 22" widescreen monitor and they didn't bother to check it because it was sealed with packing tape.
You don't have to buy any photos you don't want. So if you wanted to go onto a kiosk, print out 1000 pictures of porn, and then never come back Walmart won't hold it against you.
One of the saddest things about Walmart is that employees that work there have to supply their own uniform. It's typically a blue to dark blue collared short sleeved shirt, with khaki pants. If you wanted to just wander around in the back...
There are cash registers all around the store. If it's really busy up front, and you don't have any weighable produce then just go to a department with a register and have someone ring you up. Chances are that if the front is busy, then the electronics section is as well, but that might not be a problem because departments like sporting goods and photo have their own registers.
Managers like to quell unharmonic customers with a sleuth of gift cards until the person shuts up.
I guess it shouldn't be any surprise that anyone who steps into a Walmart knows that the people that go there are going for the prices, and yes, there are some extremely cheap people. "Well how cheap Beaty?" People will wait 15-20 minutes in a customer service line just to get back a 15 cent difference. It happens more than you would think.
If you really want to annoy someone in a department, just start leaving meat on the shelves. People leave the weirdest stuff in the weirdest places all of the time. Some guy took a disposable camera off of the hook and instead of putting it back correctly he just balanced it on top of the hook.
Don't expect any sound advice on anything that you plan to buy there.
All employees have 10 percent discount cards.
I've heard from management that 90% of the people that apply don't even pass the drug test. I don't know if it's true or not...
Some of the people that apply here are failures from the start. They don't bother to dress up in something decent and they expect to find a job.
One last note: DO NOT, I repeat: DO NOT take your car there to get your tires or oil changed unless you know and trust the people working on your car. |

| You should forward all of this by email to somebody high up or Wal Mart headquarters and see what happens. |

| I don't think I could carry $25 worth of Wal-mart out of the store. I'd need a friend. |

I'm going to have fun this weekend.:wtf:
About a month ago i went to walmart and i go to check out and there is this huge drag queen at the register with no one in line, so i went to that one. This dude was huge it was a very weird moment. I get my bags and he said "Have a nice day" in a super high pitched voice.
When i worked at Tops back home i worked with a drag queen, they looked similar. His name was Jay, he was cool as , just dragged on the weekends:wtf: |

What is the plan? Pretend you work for one of the departments? Go into storage in the back? Perhaps just go bat crazy throughout the entire store? |
