Getting sweaty like Carl Cox while mixing

So yeah, I work up a sweat while I'm mixing :p

I got a small hand towel to use when I'm at a gig. I wonder, however, why do I get so sweaty when I'm just mixing? I'm talking about the same level of sweat as when I play Maniac songs on DDR...

I know what it's like. I sweat like Richard Simmons does to the oldies when I'm playing - especially if it's at a club that's either:

A. Packed

or

B. Not air conditioned well.

Summers get messy. I usually bring backup shirts to gigs. :(

The drinks usually kill those well before I'm behind the decks. :p

I usually only sweat if there's lots of lighting down on the booth or there's really poor aircon in the joint. Otherwise I'm not too bad behind the decks when it comes to perspiration.

I remember playing versus with a guy a few months back and has shirt was soaked in sweat and we couldn't share headphones cos his were so drenched in sweat, so gross lol.

One of the main reasons I never share headphones, lol. It's like the equivalent of sharing underwear or something, you just shouldn't, wouldn't do it. :D

Some people just sweat more than others. What's the problem :conf:

Weight problems could also contribute to excessive sweating.. Or you could also being going into a state of 'Prosac' as referred to by Tomcraft...

I have hyperhidrosis. I look like Coxy just walking to class in the summer.

Sweat is a natural response to adrenaline, which is a natural response to nervousness.
