Yeah sometimes they will set a party up in the fraggle rock room, sometimes they will use that table in the front by the water fall and other times they set something up on the mainfloor for larger parties.

haha, Love doesn't recognize 'VIPs' really. They did start to get a lot of requests for bottles though, so when they did their renovations they carved out some extra places for people to sit have them. You can't have some guy just walking around the club with a bottle of Patron in his hand...cough[briantoia]cough lol

Somehow, I've never been to Love.. what's it like? Big, small? What time should I get there? If I get there at 10:45, am I going to sit on a line and then have to pay the $15 after 11? Not that I would care that much, but just curious..

Haven't been to an event in a few months so I'm really looking forward to it. Anyone else driving in from Jersey? I know it's weird but I actually like the challenge of trying to find a parking spot in NYC every weekend that I'm there.

yo yo

Love is a smaller venue with 4 rooms. As soon as you walk down the stairs, you enter the 'cave'. The cave is the main bar area, with its own dj. the entire wall and cieling are made out of a rock-like material, and there is a very cool waterfall that comes down from the cieling.

The next room you come to is what people call the fraggle rock room. the best way to describe the fraggle rock room is a soft, jungle gym hang out room lol. There are like, bunk bed style seating for people who want to lounge out, relax, or in the case of many, pass out for an hour or so.

The next room is the black light room...self explanatory...the room is wall papered with black light designed posters and is very trippy.

the main room is the coolest part of the club. It houses arguably the best sound system in the entire city. Its a dark, square room, with a recently installed 2nd bar. the dj booth setup is second to none in NYC, and the lighting is outstanding.

Check out some pics below of each room....

about the cover, just sign up for the reduced list and you're good to go for $10 admission before 1 am.

I'm going to try my hardest to make it up to this; It's the weekend of the Philly Irish/Scottish music fest and it falls under one of my yearly homework assignments to expand both my musical interests and events that I go out too (I have to go out in the sunlight now and then!). I'm going to see if I can swing it ;)
